Yorktown Police Accuse Man of Exposing Himself

YORKTOWN, N.Y. - An Irvington man was charged with public lewdness Thursday after hwe was accused of exposing himself on a nature trail at Teatown Lake Reservation, police said.

Officers responded to the reservation around 3:20 p.m. and met with a woman who reported that she was walking on the trail when she was approached by a man who had exposed himself. The man left the area, but a description of his vehicle was obtained.

After an investigation, Patrick Toomy, 43, was contacted by police and voluntarily turned himself in at Yorktown Police Headquarters. He was arraigned on the misdemeanor charge and released without bail. He is scheduled to return to court on Sept. 18.
