Yorktown Police Charge 19-Year-Old Peekskill Woman With Driving Violations

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Kaitlyn R. Ross, a 19-year old Peekskill resident, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding by Yorktown police.

On Friday, Oct. 3 at approximately 12:25 p.m., police observed a vehicle traveling in excess of the posted speed limit on Route 6 near the Taconic State Parkway. The vehicle was stopped and after the Department of Motor Vehicles revealed the driver, Ross, had a suspended license, she was arrested, according to police.

Ross was processed at police headquarters and later released on $50 cash bail. She is due to appear at 6 p.m. on Tueday, Nov. 4 in Yorktown Justice Court.
