Police said that on Sept. 27, they investigated a complaint of a larceny of a credit card from a motor vehicle. Police said an investigation revealed the credit card was used at a nearby gas station. Johnson was identified by police after reviewing closed-circuit television footage, police said.

Police located the defendant Friday on East Main Street in Mohegan Lake. He was transported to police headquarters for investigation and later placed under arrest. Johnson was later arraigned before Yorktown Justice Gary Raniolo, who remanded him to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
