Yorktown Police Charge Man With Stealing Ex's Cell Phone, Threat

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 53-year-old Brewster man has been arrested in connection with the theft of a cell phone, according to Yorktown police.

Frank C. Guida Jr. was charged with petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor, police said, after his ex-girlfriend told authorities he had taken her phone.

Police also charged Guida with second-degree aggravated harassment, a Class A misdemeanor, after the woman told them he had called and threatened her.

Guida was stopped on Granite Springs Road in Yorktown early Thursday and was arrested without incident, police said.

He was arraigned in Yorktown Justice Court and sent to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Guida is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 10.
