Yorktown Police Charge Ossining Man With Stealing Beer Kegs

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Robert DiVico, a 54-year-old Ossining resident, has been charged with grand larceny after he removed two empty beer kegs from a business on Tuesday, Nov. 11, Yorktown Police said.

Police say they were conducting surveillance in the area of 347 Downing Drive when they allegedly observed DiVico remove two empty beer kegs from the residence without permission.

After an investigation, police found that between Aug. 12 and Nov. 11, DiVico removed approximately 60 empty beer kegs valued at $1800 from the property without permission from the business owner.

Following the investigation, DiVico was taken into custody for grand larceny, police said.

DiVico was proceeded at the Yorktown Police headquarters and released on $750 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 6 p.m.
