Yorktown Police Charge Putnam Valley Teen With Stealing Gift Cards

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown Police charged an 18-year-old Putnam Valley man with petty larceny on Friday, Nov. 7, officials said.

The suspect was accused of stealing gift cards from a party at the Winery of St. George, Oct. 19 and later redeeming them at the Cortlandt Town Center, police said. 

The suspect was taken into custody at the Cortlandt Town Court and taken to Yorktown Police headquarters. He was released without bail and ordered  to appear in Yorktown Court on Dec. 19, police said.
