YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown police charged a 17-year-old with marijuana possession early Friday morning, officials said.

Authorities observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Club Fit at 600 Lee Blvd. A subsequent investigation allegedly revealed the suspect to be in possession of marijuana, according to police.

The suspect is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, Sept. 2, police said.
