Yorktown Police Charge Woman With Failure To Appear

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Kathleen McDevitt, a Mahopac resident, has been arrested by Yorktown police for failure to appear for arraignment on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation.

Police say on Tuesday, Sept. 2 an arrest warrant was issued for McDevitt after she failed to appear for arraignment as directed by an appearance ticket the charge. McDevitt voluntarily surrendered at the Yorktown police headquarters where the arrest warrant was executed on Thursday, Sept. 11, according to police. 

McDevitt was arraigned and released on $500 cash bail. She is expected to appear in court on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m.
