Police were called at around 11 p.m. by a man who was threatening to harm himself with a gun.
When officers arrived at the home and finished setting up a perimeter, a single gunshot was heard.
The victim was later identified as 35-year-old Jason Neale of Yorktown, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
