Yorktown Resident Arrested For Driving With A Suspended License

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – A Yorktown man recently was arrested for driving with a suspended license, according to a press release from the Yorktown Police Department.

Vincenzo Deraco, 38, of Hanover Street, was arrested Thursday, police said.

He is charged with one misdemeanor count of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third-degree and two traffic infractions – failure to yield right of way and driving as an unlicensed operator, according to police.

Deraco allegedly caused an auto accident with property damage on Crompond Road, police said.

Upon further investigation, authorities learned Deraco’s license was suspended and they arrested him.

Police later released Deraco without bail.

Deraco is scheduled to appear Thursday, June 25 in Yorktown Justice Court, according to police.
