YORKTOWN, N. Y. -- A 25-year-old Yorktown man is facing charges after Yorktown police stopped his car Tuesday, March 29, and discovered his license was suspended, police said.
Scott V. Baia, of Barberry Road in Yorktown, is charged with misdemeanor third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, along with the traffic infraction of not displaying a front license plate, police said.
He was released and due back at 6 p.m., April 28, in Yorktown Justice Court for arraignment, police said.
Police stopped his car at around noon Tuesday because the officer did not see a front license plate. Police discovered the suspended license during the investigation, police said.
