Yorktown Streets Will Close For Veterans Day Parade Sunday

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – The Yorktown Citizens Veterans Day parade, scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, will close a variety of roadways throughout Yorktown.

Stoney Street at East Main Street is among six streets that will be closed for the parade.

The parade will begin at Lakeland High School and continue on East Main Street to the John C. Hart Library grounds where there will be a ceremony at the Shrub Oak Veterans Monument.

Yorktown police have advised that the following streets will be closed to accommodate this event:

East Main Street from the Lakeland High School east driveway to Sunnyside Street
Stoney Street at East Main Street
Stonegate Road at East Main Street
New Road (east end) at East Main Street
Dane Street at East Main Street
Frost Road at East Main Street
