Yorktown Teen Accused Of Trespassing At Lakeland Middle School

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – A 14-year-old boy recently was arrested for trespassing at Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School, according to a press release from the Yorktown Police Department.

At about 11:05 p.m. Thursday, June 4, police officers responded to a burglar alarm that sounded at the school.

They saw a young male flee the building on foot and were later able to identify him, according to police.

The teen turned himself in to authorities in the presence of a parent, the next day, police said.

He was arrested and later released, pending a juvenile court appearance scheduled for Thursday, June 18, police said.
