YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Yorktown teen found himself under arrest again on Thursday after failing to pay a fine for endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Yorktown Police Department.

A bench warrant was issued for the unidentified 17-year-old teen after he failed to pay the fine associated with charge and for disorderly conduct, police said.

The teen voluntarily surrendered himself on Thursday after learning of the warrant, police said.

Following processing, he was released on his own recognizance and is set to appear in court on Jan. 5, 2017.
