Yorktown Teen Grabs Throat, Steals Property From Woman, Police Say

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Yorktown teen was arrested and charged with two misdemeanors following a domestic incident Tuesday.

Ryan Thomas, 19, was arrested and charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, a Class A Misdemeanor and Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor after police allege he grabbed the throat of the victim and stole property from her.

Thomas voluntarily turned himself where he was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court on June 13. A temporary order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
