YORKTOWN, N. Y. -- A 22-year-old Yorktown woman is facing more charges after jumping bail and failing to appear in court on previous drug charges, Yorktown police said.
Melissa Spergel is being held at the the Westchester County Corrections Facility on $10,000 bond or $5,000 cash bail.
Spergel was arrested by police Oct. 8 on a bench warrant that followed her failure to appear in Yorktown Justice Court July 16 on drug charges, police said.
She previously was arrested for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, both class A misdemeanors, police said.
Her next court date is Oct. 15 at the Yorktown Justice Center.
