YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Yorktown woman has been charged with violating an order of protection, police said.
Nancy M. Abrams, 44, was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 4, after authorities received a complaint that she had followed and verbally threatened the “protected party.”
Abrams, who turned herself into police, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor, for violating the order from Westchester County Family Court, police said.
She was released without bail and is to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday, Oct. 6, police said.
