County GOP Chair Latest Dutchess Resident To Join Trump Transition Team

Dutchess County Republican Committee Chairman Michael McCormack is the latest county resident who will join President-elect Donald Trump's Transition Team's Executive Committee.

As previously reported by Daily Voice, Dutchess County Sheriff Adrian "Butch" Anderson, who served as honorary co-chair of Trump's New York campaign, has also been named to the committee.

McCormack, along with Anderson, appeared with Trump at a rally at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie in April.

Yorktown High School graduate Dan Scavino, a resident of Hopewell Junction, Trump's social media director, is also a member of the transition team.

Trump himself has no shortage of ties to the Hudson Valley.

He owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville, Trump National Westchester in Briarcliff Manor and a private estate in Bedford.

The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. TrumpState Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.
