GOP Opens A Campaign Headquarters In Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y.-- Several Westchester County and local Republican politicians have come together to open a GOP headquarters in Yorktown. A ceremony to commemorate the office's opening will take place on Friday.

The ceremony will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the new Northern Westchester GOP Campaign Headquarters at Triangle Gateway, 2045 Saw Mill River Road, next to Maria's Pizza. 

Festivities will include an open house, a pizza party and a formal ribbon cutting ceremony.

County Executive Rob Astorino, County Clerk candidate Mary Beth Murphy, Town Supervisor Michael Grace, Town Councilman Terrence Murphy and Council candidate Dorothy Forcina, Highway Superintendent candidate Greg Bernard, Judge Sal Lagonia, County Board of Legislator candidates John G. Testa, and Greg Kane have all united in both message and resources to make this full-time campaign headquarters a reality.

Residents from Northern Westchester are invited to attend and meet the candidates.

Four years ago, the Yorktown Republican Town Committee began the Republican resurgence in Northern Westchester by opening an office in Yorktown Heights. News 12 called the 2009 headquarters the "first GOP campaign office in the north part of the county since 1994."
