New York Times Explores Astorino Potential Gubernatorial Run

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The New York Times sat down with Westchester County Executive Robert Astorino to discuss the possibility of his challenging Democratic incumbent Andrew Cuomo for governor in 2014.

Astorino faces a number of hurdles if he is to run against Cuomo. Among his biggest challenges will be campaign funding, generating name recognition outside of Westchester County and appealing to a predominantly Democratic voting base, according to the Times article.
