Trump owns an estate in Bedford as well as golf clubs in Hopewell Junction and Briarcliff Manor.
Schneiderman called Trump's earlier comments about the lawsuit judge possibly being of Hispanic origin as "racial demagoguery" but refused to engage in a war of words with the real estate mogul."
Schneiderman noted "the state Supreme Court has already ruled Trump University operated illegally in New York as an unlicensed, and we look forward to prevailing on the rest of our claims as the legal process moves forward."
Trump suggested the action is part of a conspiracy against him by Schneiderman and President Obama.
“I will not engage in a debate about ongoing litigation,” the statement reads in part. “We look forward to prevailing on the rest of our claims as the legal process goes forward.”
