YORKTOWN, N.Y. – A revised site plan for a Costco Wholesale Club on Route 202 was presented this week to the Yorktown Planning Board. The revision included slightly changing the entrance to the 18.75-acre site and moving gas pumps for members from one side of the property to the other.
The Planning Board is expected to accept Costco's draft environmental impact statement as being complete at its Aug. 13 meeting and may set a public hearing for its Sept. 10 meeting.
Costco is looking to build a 151,000-square-foot warehouse and 610 parking spaces less than one mile from BJ's Wholesale Club on Route 202. Opponents of the project have raised concerns about the traffic congestion the store will bring to a roadway already experiencing vehicle overload.

It is about time to remove that blight from Yorktown. Have you seen the mess that is there now? God knows what is hiding in there.
