Yorktown's Katz Re-Appointed To Mental Health Committee Post

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – State Assemblyman Steve Katz (R,C-Yorktown) has been re-appointed as the Ranking Minority Member on the state Assembly Mental Health Committee.

"I am extremely excited to resume my work as Ranking Member on the Assembly Mental Health Committee," Katz said. "There is still much room for improvement on how we work with and house those who are the most vulnerable.

"During my tenure in this position, I have worked tirelessly to improve how government functions when confronting these issues, and I cannot wait to get back to work on behalf of this community."

Katz has also been appointed to the Aging, Alcoholism, Economic Development, and Housing committees for the legislative session.

Katz has served in the State Assembly since 2011. He represents the 94th Assembly District, which covers parts of Northern Westchester and parts of Putnam.
