Mount Vernon Mayor-Elect Supports 'Arts On Third' Festival

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – The Arts on Third Festival, founded in 1999 by Mayor Ernest D. Davis, was not expected to return because of Davis’ election loss to Richard Thomas, according to the Mount Vernon Inquirer.

Thomas, however, said that the festival is important to Mt. Vernon and to the state, and that he fully supports its continued success, the Mt. Vernon Inquirer reported.
