The events, from 1-3 p.m. on Dec. 12 and Dec. 19, will feature a number of holiday settings and Christmas carolers in addition to the Big Guy, organizers said. Candy canes will be given away and gift cards will be raffled off. Guests are urged to bring their cameras.

Free parking for the event will be made available in the Guntzer Municipal Lot about two blocks away until 8 p.m. on both days, according to the Business District Alliance of Fort Lee (BDA), which is providing the parking. The group urges those in attendance to check out Fort Lee’s newly revitalized Main Street and enjoy special Holiday shopping values.

Another highlight of the events is the Main Street Shopping Corridor, which the BDA has decorated with mini-evergreen trees, garlands, lights and bows. Additionally, the BDA’s Storefront Decorating program has put in place over 45 uniquely designed Holiday wreaths for stores and restaurants to hang in their windows.

The group also operates a Window Display program that allows randomly selected local businesses to have their storefront windows professionally decorated at no cost. These displays will be utilized as samples for future programs available in 2016. The chosen stores can keep their window displays at the end of the holiday season.
