The Darien Chamber welcomes all in the greater Darien community to a fun-filled evening, which will feature a large selection of fine wines sponsored by WinePort-Darien.
Tastings of fine foods, from a raw oyster bar to chili to delectable hors d’oeuvres, will be provided by Atria of Darien, Darien Cheese and Fine Foods, Fjord Fish Market, Kirby and Company, Meatball & Co., Palmer’s Darien, SoNo Baking Company, The Goose American Bistro, and Whole Foods Market.
A charity auction will feature many special items with Tom Geary, owner of Geary Gallery, as the “auctioneer."
The silent auction items will include A Lifetime Experience - tickets for two to 2017 PGA Championship (two days/hotel/car included); Jet Blue tickets for two; "Seth Meyers Show" tickets; "CATS" tickets; and much more.
The event/fundraiser will benefit The Depot Youth Center, Darien Arts Center and Darien Chamber Charitable Foundation for Darien’s Holiday Lights and Scholarships.
The auction will also feature fun and fabulous items for every family member and friends, according to a release from the Darien Chamber.
Guests will find items from Darien’s favorite spas, shops, and restaurants. This is a great time to look for unusual gift items for the holidays, the release said.

The Depot Teen Center is a nonprofit organization providing youth with a drug- and-alcohol-free environment. The monies raised will go towards the new roof that is needed.
The Darien Arts Center recently celebrated its 40 anniversary and monies raised will go towards programs.
The Darien Chamber Charitable Foundation supports two to three community-based college scholarships and the Holiday Lighting on the Post Rd in Darien.
Advance tickets are available until Monday, Oct. 17, and can be purchased online at the Darien Chamber for $50. After Monday, tickets can be purchased at the Chamber office between 9 a.m. - 1pm. The price at the door is $65.
The event is from 6–9 p.m.
