KATONAH, N.Y. -- Yorktown resident Laura Acocella has been appointed branch office manager of Coldwell Banker's Katonah office.

Acocella will be responsible for the oversight of approximately 30 real estate professionals serving homebuyers and sellers in Katonah, Armonk, Lewisboro, North Salem, Pound Ridge, South Salem and the surrounding communities in Northern Westchester County.

Prior to her new role, Acocella managed the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Somers.

“Laura is an incredibly dedicated and energetic professional, and she has consistently demonstrated stellar management skills throughout her career with Coldwell Banker. Her extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the local market will serve her well as she sets out to grow and add to the success of the Katonah office,” said Cathleen Smith, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y. “I am very pleased that Laura has accepted this new management position and know she will work well with the real estate professionals who are affiliated with the Katonah office.”

Before joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Acocella owned and operated Century 21 Elite Properties in Katonah for about seven years, which was acquired by Coldwell Banker in 2008.

“Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offers the educational programs, technology and marketing resources that are necessary to be successful. Real estate professionals affiliated with Coldwell Banker have at their fingertips all the programs that are essential to provide top-notch service to their homebuyer and seller clients,” Acocella said. “I look forward to working closely with the affiliated real estate professionals in the Katonah office so they can continue to provide the superior service that our clients have come to expect.”
