Future Teachers Invite Mentors To Breakfast

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Students in the Childhood Development and Education program at theTech Center invited teachers from their school districts to breakfast on the campus of Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES, Yorktown Heights recently.

The students have been learning every aspect of early childhood development, including working in the on-campus preschool, and completing an internship in a classroom of their choice for the program.

The breakfast was prepared by Tech Center culinary students.

Katonah student Sara Yeshoua, brought teacher Judy McBride, of Katonah Elementary School, as her guest.

“I am so proud of her,” McBride said.
