The man, described as white with a European accent, was allegedly part of a “suspicious interaction” Tuesday afternoon, Monahan wrote in a message to parents.
The superintendent did not elaborate on the nature of the interaction, and said the man was in his 20s or 30s and drove a white sedan with tinted windows.
The sedan may have been a Hyundai, Scion, or Toyota, according to Monahan.
A formal report was made to the Carmel Police Department.
“Such incidents are reminders to regularly discuss issues of personal safety with our children,” Monahan wrote.
