YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown and Lakeland school districts have no remaining snow days, and any additional cancellations would result in a loss of scheduled vacation days, according to district officials.
Yorktown already used all of its snow days before last Friday's cancellation. As a result, March 25 will now be a full school day. Additional lost days would be made up in order during spring recess from March 26 to 29.
Lakeland is also out of snow days, but the district has not been forced to schedule any make-up days yet. The next cancellation, however, would cut into the district's spring recess. Days would be made up in order from March 25 to 29.
