Yorktown School Budget Approved

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Residents in the Yorktown School District said yes to the 2016-2017 school budget Tuesday.

The budget was approved 773 to 235. The $98 million budget increased spending .52 percent and increased the tax levy .32 percent.

Cheryl Reynolds, Tom Donatelli and Reshmi Boses were elected to the school board with Drew Pecunia finishing in fourth.
