According to Statista, about 70 percent of Americans eat out at casual dining restaurants at least once a week. What if you can just dine out as you normally do, but it results in local businesses donating to charity? That is the premise behind St. Elizabeth Ann Seton's innovative approach for fundraising.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School has come up with a variety of restaurants to choose from for the fundraising effort. In some cases, campaign users get special treatment such as free appetizer or nachos.

Local restaurants donate 15-25 percent of online sales to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School. "Fundraising touches the very heart of parents since it is supporting the growth of a home away from home for their children," said Sister Gabriel, principal of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School.

"My kids go to this school, and I absolutely love the education and care they get. I am glad to participate and contribute to this initiative. All local businesses were supportive of the idea, and we sincerely thank them for their support," said Uthay Kumar, who owns personaevents.com and came up with this idea.

The campaign runs until May 18, and you can use purchased offers until July 31. For a list of businesses participating in this campaign, visit personaevents.com.
