Jack Doherty Of Yorktown Nets Game-Winner For Marist

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Jack Doherty of Yorktown Heights, a senior at Marist College, scored with one second remaining in overtime Friday to give the Red Foxes a 10-9 win over Towson in men's lacrosse.

Doherty, who played at Lakeland High, had four goals in the game and helped Marist to improve to 4-0 on the season. He has a team-high 11 goals and 14 points.

Brendan Brunelle, a senior from Yorktown Heights and a Yorktown High graduate, is also a member of the lacrosse team at Marist. Brunelle has played in two games. Ethan Fox, a senior from Yorktown Heights and a graduate of Yorktown High, is also on the team and has played in all four games.

Doherty led the team with 30 goals last season and was named second-team all-conference.
