Lakeland/Panas Plays Mamaroneck in Lacrosse Semis

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Section 1 Girl’s Lacrosse Championships continue Monday with the semifinals in all three classes.

The semifinal winners will play for the respective titles Wednesday at Suffern Middle School beginning at 3 p.m.

In Class A, defending champion and top-seeded Lakeland/Panas host No. 4 Mamaroneck while the all-Rockland semi features No. 2 North Rockland hosting No. 3 Suffern.

Top-seeded Fox Lane and fourth-seeded Scarsdale meet in one Class B semifinal while No. 7 and defending champ Yorktown, which upset second-seeded John Jay-Cross River in the quarters, plays No. 3 Brewster.

The top two seeds are gone in Class C leaving No. 3 Irvington, which will host No. 7 Byram Hills, and No. 4 Rye, which will face No. 9 Pearl River, as the remaining top-four seeds. Pearl River eliminated top-seeded Nyack in the quarters.
