SHRUB OAK, N.Y. -- The Mahopac and Clarkstown North High School girls basketball teams both opened the season Thursday at the Carolyn Conroy Tournament at Lakeland HS, with the Indians walking off with a 47-41 victory.

Clarkstown North got 15 points from Sam Bruno.

Mahopac, which was led by Amanda Geyer's 12 points and Carly Pease's 11, moves on to the championship game Saturday at 6 p.m. The boys championship game will follow at 8 p.m.
