YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. --  Mike Rodriguez's clutch, two-run single in the bottom of the sixth ended up being the difference as the Yorktown baseball team edged Somers 6-5 in the Huskers' Senior Day in the last game of the regular season,

Matt Pupcyzk started for Yorktown and got the win, and Jack Kelly closed it out to earn the save, and added a two-run single in the third.

Yorktown assured itself of a home game in the opening round of the playoffs on Thursday, and senior southpaw and team captain Chris Henry (6-2) will get the start for Yorktown.

Takoda Sitar took the loss for Somers, which fell to 9-10 with one game left before playoffs.
