WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Local soccer company Metro New York Legends, also known as Legends Soccer Club, will host six free soccer clinics starting in early September in several towns throughout Westchester County.
Each of the clinics will kick off a soccer season that will continue throughout the winter.
The company will run the clinics through its Happy Feet program, which caters to those younger than age 5.
The first clinic will be in Yorktown Heights on Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Godard School. The first session will be for 2- and 3-year-olds at 10 a.m., and the second session will be for 4- and 5-year-olds at 10:45 a.m.
The second clinic will be at All Aboard in Ossining on Saturday, Sept. 15. The sessions will follow the same schedule as Yorktown Heights.
The third clinic will be at the Saw Mill Club in Mount Kisco from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24.
The fourth clinic will be at Klub Kehilla in New Rochelle on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 11:15 a.m. for 2-year-olds and 12:30 p.m. for 3- to 4-year-olds.
The fifth clinic will be in White Plains at the Temple Israel Center Gym at 280 Old Mamaroneck Road at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4. This clinic will be open to kindergartners and first graders.
The sixth clinic, also for kindergartners and first-graders, will be at the Saw Mill Club in Mount Kisco at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16.
