The story, which examines Trump's ties to golf, quoted the president as saying  "That White House is a real dump," while chatting recently with members of his golf club in Bedminstrer, NJ. A White House spokesperson denies Trump made that comment.

Trump has spent 21 of 26 weekends while president at Trump properties, according to CNN, including 40 days at Trump golf properties.

Trump, who owns the $19 million Seven Springs estate in Bedford, also owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville and Trump National Westchester in Briarcliff Manor.

The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.
