YORKTOWN, N.Y. - The Edgemont Sharphooters and Yorktown Green eighth-grade basketball teams mixed it up on the hardwood Sunday at the Mildred E. Strang Middle School, with Yorktown walking off with a 51-40 victory.

Myles Proctor had 12 points for Yorktown, which improved to 16-8. Anthony Fusco had eight for Yorktown, and Sergio Spiniello and Sunjo Mainsah each had five.

Edgemont, coached by Jon Lewis, fell to 4-6.
