Yorktown graduate Cassie Relly-Boccia will be playing for the ultimate title, beginning Monday as Alabama faces Oklahoma in the NCAA Division I College Softball World Series.
Game one of the best-of-three title series will be broadcast on ESPN2 and ESPN3 at 8 p.m. Monday. Game two is at 8 p.m. Tuesday, and game three, if necessary, is at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Reilly-Boccia, who led Yorktown to consecutive Section 1 Class AA softball titles in 2007 and 08, is a four-year starter at first base for the Crimson Tide.
Reilly-Boccia is hitting .344 with nine home runs and 48 RBI. She has a .576 slugging percentage and leads the team with a .507 on-base percentage.
