YORKTOWN, N.Y. Finnegans, Finnegans Grill and Boys of Summer each won playoff games Monday to inch closer to championships in the Yorktown Summer Softball League. Finnegans topped the Bayside Tigers 7-3 in International League best-of-three play and needs a victory tonight to take the title. Boys of Summer defeated Finnegans Grill 8-4 in the opener of National League best-of-three championships series Monday. Finnegans Grill needs a win in tonights second game to stay alive. The Benchwarmers took a 1-0 series lead with a 4-3 nail biter over Shell 7/11 Monday in American League playoff action with the second game set for Thursday. All games are being played at Route 202 fields beginning at 6:30 p.m.
