'Go-To-Guy': Patrol Officer Of Sheriff's Office In Hudson Valley Dies A sheriff's office in the Hudson Valley has announced the death of one of its own.  Special Patrol Officer Timothy J. ID Released For Town Employee Hit, Killed By Vehicle In Yorktown, Police Say The identity of a town worker hit and killed by a vehicle in Northern Westchester has been released by officials. Jake Arcara, age 28, was killed in Yorktown around 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14 in the area of 477 London Road. Arcara, of Yorktown, was working on a drainage project on London Road with fellow employees when he was struck by the vehicle operated by an 88-year-old local resident, town officials said. Wake Set For Man Killed In Yorktown House Fire A 53-year-old man killed in a fire at his Northern Westchester will be remembered during a visitation on Monday, July 9. Frank Fonte was found unconscious around 5 p.m. Sunday by Yorktown Heights firefighters and was pronounced dead a short time later at his home at 1789 Baldwin Road. Yorktown Police could not confirm the identity until they receive forensic verification and await investigation results, but services have been scheduled for Fonte.
