Peekskill resident Maya Jean-Louis, age 21, was stopped on East Main Street in Yorktown on Tuesday, Aug. 16 for excessively tinted windows. The Yorktown Police Department announced the arrest of Peekskill resident Michael Rispoli, who was charged with a misdemeanor count of second-degree criminal contempt for allegedly sending messages to his victim. Two From Croton Injured In Route 9 Crash Three local residents injured in a head-on crash on Route 9 had to be airlifted to Westchester Medical Center, officials said. The crash occurred around 5 p.m. Wednesday when a vehicle driving south veered into the oncoming lane and struck a northbound car, said state police.
