I agree. Umani is an awesome restaurant. I just wish they'd bring back the lobster rolls they had last summer.
I've had the "keystone Cops" installation and repair experience with Verizon several times. I will never do business with them again. I know people who have had ongoing problems with Fios but can't get out of the contracts, so they can't even get the new stuff right. View Comment
Now that he has the endorsements of the civil service and teachers unions there's no way he'll support any kind of reform for the gold plated pensions and benefits they get compared to the vast majority of workers in the private sector.
That loses him my vote. View Comment
Here's a little information about Dr. Mercola. The FDA had to order him to stop making illegal claims for the products he sells through that website:

and the primary purpose of those highly provocative articles is to drive traffic to his sales operation:

Mercola.com, which bills itself as "The Worlds #1 Natural Health Website" is a commercial website run by an individual who uses it to sell vitamins and other products:

It looks like it has a strong anti traditional medicine bias. If you want independent health coverage, stick with sources like webmd.com, or better yet, the National Institute of Health's Pubmed site:

Here's an example:

I used AAA a few years ago to challenge my taxes in Cortlandt and they did an excellent job, getting me an 18.5% reduction. Aaron Cohen is both an attorney and a real estate broker. He was also easy to contact, easy to work with and highly professional, well worth a portion of the first years savings.
And for those who think you can do it yourself, you can, but one minor error in the process bounces you for the year and he can credibly threaten to go to court if he doesn't like the offer he gets from the assessor. If they had offered me 10% I would have grabbed it. He got me 18.5%. It's worth it to use a professional. The town assessor is not your friend in these situations. View Comment
