Why does the news media keep portraying Mr. Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. as virtuous victim of the police?
Besides serving in the Marines and as a correction officer he was arrested for murder because of a road rage incident and acquitted. Another low light of his life was that he and an accomplice robbed an 80 year old woman of $20,000 and was caught in Atlantic City high on drugs while gambling.
This man was a menace to his neighbors with his numerous drunken belligerent episodes where the police had to be called.
It is a crime in itself to group Mr. Chamberlain in with innocent black Americans who have been abused and killed by the police during an evil time in American history.

Judging from the turnout for the fireworks I would say a good amount of taxpayers in Lewisboro favor spending public money for fireworks to go along with the money raised by private donations.
I am quite surprised that somebody who is as plugged in as Mr. Ochs does not know about the private donations.
What is Mr. Ochs agenda? View Comment
What an unholy alliance teachers union officials and Democrat politicians pandering to the public. It would be a good thing if our children's safety and education would be improved with this photo op. Past actions prove just the opposite. View Comment
Playland has been losing money and attendance way before parking fees and entrance fees were instituted. The added revenue was needed to make the visitors of Playland pay for the privlidge. I do not think an amusement park would be considered a vital part of County government. View Comment
All do respect Mr. Parsons is the cashier at DeCicco's responsable for the stores profitability? If there is any credit to go around it would have to be the fiscal leadership of Peter DeLuccia, Frank Kelly, and John Pappalardo. I give you credit for wisely following their lead.
P.S. Being that Ms. Vasi is from the Bronx could she have made delinquent taxpayers offers they could not refuse? View Comment
This is the first time I can agree with Oldtimer. Mr Parsons is a nice fellow but a poor Supervisor. When he decided to run for office he did not expect to win. After Mr. Duffy self destructed he unfortunately won the election. Mr. Parsons is not going to make the tough decisions or stand up for his beliefs. The best illustration of Mr. Parson's personality is the fact that he voted for this budget and did not fight for his own. Whether you like Dan Welsh or not he still had the conviction to not vote for this budget. Maybe it is time for Lewisboro to bring in a professional town manager at a compensation level that will attract more than what we have. You pay "peanuts" and get only "monkeys". View Comment
Besides shifting the repaving to a referendum and shifting the debt owed to a longer time to repay (higher cost) what did they do? They cut $11,000 dollars. Let's see the political strength the previous Supervisor showed the prior two years. I hope the Town Board was not intimidated by having 2/3's of the audience town employees? View Comment
