Persons with illnesses, seniors and those without air conditioning should take special precautions during a heat advisory which can cause heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
Sunny skies to start the day Sunday will give way to afternoon clouds with Scattered showers and thunderstorms that could produce gusty winds and heavy rain.
The high temperature will be in the low 90s.
The outlook for Monday calls for continued humidity with a high near 90 and partly sunny skies.
Showers and thunderstorms are likely Tuesday with a high around 85.
Daytime highs are expected to be in the mid 80s throughout the week, but with less humidity than the last few days.
