“Jefferson Valley Mall can’t be beat for back-to-school shopping with a great selection of stores offering the hottest clothing and accessories for this season,” said Alexa O’Rourke, director of marketing and business development at the mall. “In order to make back-to-school shopping a whole-family affair, we are hosting two fun and fashion-focused back-to-school events that you won’t want to miss!”
The Kidgits Club event on Aug. 8 is an event for younger kids and will include activities such as a bounce house, obstacle course and book mark creation for children between the ages 3 and 8.
A teen-centered event on Aug. 22 will include a style presentation from Gap, entertainment from Double Image Event Production and challenges from Yorkville Sports Association for student athletes.
The first-ever "Sounds of Summer" concert series by the Courtlandt School of Performing Arts will feature as many as five young vocalists on the stage in Center Court from 2 to 3 p.m.
