YORKTOWN, N.Y. The Jefferson Valley Mall is inviting community members to enjoy a girls night out on Thursday as part of its monthlong effort to paint the mall pink.
Sears and Support Connection, a nonprofit organization that offers free support services to people affected by breast and ovarian cancer, are sponsoring Girls Night Out at the mall from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Center Court.
It is important for women to enjoy vibrant personal relationships with other women, said Lisa Bennett, assistant vice president of business development at Simon Property Group, which runs the mall. We want to promote those relationships at a place they love to be.
Throughout the night, there will be a fashion show featuring fall and holiday looks, food samples from local merchants, and various giveaways.
Guests can enter drawings to win tickets to The Awesome 80s Prom at Webster Hall in New York Citys East Village, a $50 gift card from Sears, a pink robe set from Brookstone, a volcanic ash face-lift facial from Le Petite Spa, a bead bracelet from Piercing Pagoda and other prizes.
