Ticket sales and auction revenue from the event will be donated to Clearwater, a nationally recognized grassroots environmental group dedicated to preserving the Hudson River and its tributaries.

The show "Rivers and Tides: Ceramics along the Hudson" will include both functional and sculptural work in clay created by an array of notable artists.

The exhibition will coincide with American Craft Week, a national event celebrating and promoting American craft, scheduled for Oct. 1-16.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for kids ages 16 and younger. Click here for additional information and to purchase tickets.

A project of C.R.A.F.T (Craft Retailers and Artists for Tomorrow), the event is sponsored by several respected organizations, including the American Craft Council. Aileen Osborn Webb, founder of the American Craft Council, was born in the Hudson Valley.

A family relation of Anne Osborn, the president of Clearwater's executive committee, Webb recognized the significant impact of craft on individuals and communities, and established a nonprofit to preserve, cultivate and celebrate this communal heritage, according to a release from the Peekskill Clay Studio.

In keeping with this spirit, the Peekskill Clay Studios in partnership with Clearwater, hopes to further this vision with creation of OctoberFEAST, the release said.

The event will be from noon to 5 p.m.

The Hat Factory is at 1000 N. Division St., in Peekskill.
