- A “Bookshare” gathering will be held towards the conclusion of the Community Reading Festival for all participants to exchange thoughts and opinions on the books read during the two months.
- Voice actor Alan Sklar gives a dramatic reading of Edgar Alan Poe's "The Pit and the Pendulum" at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25.
- Lisa Ragano will discuss the latest bestsellers and book titles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
- Mary Johnson leads a six week writing at 6:30 p.m. starting Oct. 26.
- “Biodiversity in a fragmented world: an ecological story of the Atlantic forest biodiversity hotspot in Bahia, Brazil,” is the topic at 6:30 on Thursday, Oct. 29.
- Art Series with Professor Valerie Franco at 7 p.m. Oct. 28. The discussion focuses on Filippino Lippi. Lippi's mural work for the de Medici family placed him in the upper strata of Florentine painters including Botticcelli and Ghirlandaio.
- Friday Night Films with Professor Valerie Franco takes place at 7 p.m. on Friday Oct. 23. The film will be "The Girl on a Bicycle."
- Italian horror movies, called the genre Giallo, will be explored at 7 p.m. on Friday: Oct. 30.
- Italian Language and Culture with MaraDeMateo takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20 and Oct. 27.
- Bridge with Joel Goren (not for beginners) is at 1 p.m. on Saturdays, Oct. 24 and Oct. 31.
- The Knitting Circle is from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. This group is open to everyone who has an interest in knitting.
- Practice Tai Chi with Larry Atille Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 24 and Oct. 31.
- Chair Yoga with Alka Kaminer takes place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 28.
